I feel like I'm always trying to find some kind of affirmation.  I do things for people, because I get a kick out of hearing them say thank you.

I haven't been doing anything too productive the past few months.  My parents have repeatedly asked me to dive into the real world of the employed.  I keep telling them that I'll only apply for things that I actually want to do.  Sadly, it seems like none of the companies want me.  Pfft.

Anyway.  I've been keeping myself busy with baking and websites.

Nobody has been ordering from me so I've been testing stuff out on my family.  Last Sunday, I made a Choco-Banana Swirl Cake and my relatives seemed to like it.  It came out real soft and fluffy and the chocolate ganache wasn't too sweet for my mother.  I've also designed a flyer that I'm planning to give out soon.  We're going to give them to the people who supply newspaper in the Katipunan area.  The only thing missing is a name.  I wanted to use sucre, but isn't it a bit hard to pronounce?  Any ideas?

I volunteered to do the Club website, because (1) I've got a lot of free time on my hands; (2) Our moderator hinted if I could make one; (3) I love the Club; and (4) I love making websites.  Heh.  I think I can come up with something better, but I think they like the one I made.  Resizing pictures took longer than I thought it would.  Augh.  I have hundreds more to pore through.  It sucks that I can only upload fifty files onto the freewebs server.  Whaaaat.  So I had to open up a photobucket account for the pictures.  Let's all hope it doesn't run out of bandwidth.

I also volunteered to help out with the UPCC site.  I wish I could do something with Flash to jazz it up.  Kaich showed me the UPSA site and it was sleek and high tech.  Hehe.  I, on the other hand, can only come up with a bunch of Photoshopped pictures with links that change backgrounds when you hover over them.  Fweh.

Weird or not, I just felt a rush of contentment when one of my orgmates texted me Thanks!  Astig ka talaga!  Hahaha.  Talk about cheap thrills. (:  I'm glad I didn't disappoint.
